Completed the score for Vitt Skräp (White Trash)

After five years in the making. Me and my fellow composer on this score, Joel Forssell, did a version of this score for some 4 years ago but as the edit changed and the look as well, we and the director felt that we needed an almost completely new score. Only 3-4 cues (of 41) was kept from the earlier version and during august and September we have finished the new score for this Crime/Thriller set in a small town in Sweden during the 80s.
Now we have handed the score over to the celebrated and esteemed Sound mixer/editor/designers Ken Skoglund and Lasse Liljeholm.

Plot: In a Swedish town in the 80s, two strangers ends up by accident in the middle of a drug deal.

Release of Conduct This! Game Music Soundtrack

The Game, Conduct This! Began as a mobile app game created by a small indie studio in Copenhagen called Northplay. The game, inspired by railway games from the 90s, with low poly maps that’s addictive. It’s a puzzle game where you are conducting / managing a train system so that there are as few accidents as possible.

Many reviewers celebrated the graphics, calling it gorgeous and the music outstanding and that the controls are incredibly simple and intuitive, and the puzzles themselves are challenging. My Music, Northplay, wanted me to be inspired by old games from the 90s and Big Band Jazz. A fun task to tackle.

Soon the game became a hit and it won awards on some of the biggest possible award shows for games. Millions upon millions downloaded the app and Northplay started to create more games in what would become a series of games for different platforms surround Conducting trains. Also, an AR version with the focus on Western movies, a collaboration game and a game for the platform STEAM.

Commisioned themes for Trudvang Chronicles: Muspelheim

One of the most famous and biggest tabletop and roleplay games manufacturers are Riotminds and they create games such as Drakar och Demoner (Trudvang Chronicles) and Götterdämmerung (Lex Occultum). They have several very successful Kickstarter projects behind them and fans all over the world.

As I did the score back in 2012 for “Thronelander”, a Trudvang Chronicles Featurette, I came to enjoy Riotminds even more than before. I later composed the music to their book release of the book “Kabal”, the teaser of Götterdämmerung (Lex Occultum) and 2015 the Original Soundtrack with music from the featurette and also a short film “Giltes Bane” (also 2012). Since then we have been busy working on other projects, so it was a no brainer when I got contacted to compose and produce 5 pieces of music for their second complete regional sourcebook for the world of Trudvang: Muspelheim. The book focus on what’s under the surface of Trudvang, into the realm of the dwarves. This is an extensive book covering the dark and stony underworld beneath the lands of humans and elves.

My participation became official today as their Kickstarter unlocked the stretch goal “Drums of the Deep” consisting of me creating 5 Trudvang Muspelheim themes.
