Today it’s ten years ago when one my early pieces were performed by The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra live on Skansen in Stockholm. The performance was shown live on national Swedish TV (SVT) and watched by over a million people.
The piece were first composed by me when I was 14 (at least the tune) and then used by me and Simon Heath in the duo Za Frûmi.
Waerloga Records, the label that released Simon’s albums with Za Frûmi and Abnocto has refreshed their webpage 100 % and they call it Waerloga 3.0. To celebrate the 13th birthday of Waerloga Records the label made a new webpage but also signed new acts and put up their whole discography on Band Camp. On the Band Camp page you can listen to all old albums of Kölle, a new compilation (called “Waerloga Journey”) with several songs composed by Simon.
On “Waerloga Journey – Compilation vol. 2” 22 tracks are presented with some of the best up and coming composers in the game and film industry. The composers of games such as The Witcher, Kingdoms of Camelot, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, The Settlers, Heroes of Kingdoms, Left 4 Dead, Batman Dark Knight (app), Dead Island, Crime City and many more. Also the composers of scores such as Alice in the Wonderland (Trailer), Lumin, Tronländaren (and the rest of all Simon Kölle Soundtracks), Das schwarze Auge, The Challenger, Into the Storm (Trailer), The Ark, Anton, Reaping for Dummies and a hell of a lot more. Except film/game score composers you also hear other artists ranging from Nordic Folk to Epic Fantasy inspired music.
