#ingenskitiminkropp is the hashtag and also name of the short film I produced together with Richard Jarnhed for The Swedish Budo & Martial Arts Federation back in 2016. The film, which is a drama documentary, has now been released. You can see the film HERE.I also composed the Music for the film.
I have completed the music to the USA/Swedish feature film “Rune Of The Dead”. It is a strong soundtrack that I composed with mostly inspiration from the viking era. To my aid as a musician and additional composer I had the Riksspeleman (a generally recognized badge of mastery for Swedish folk musicians) Per Runberg. I also took in several other musicians. The acclaimed singer songwriter Mohalvyr sings the theme Viverja, a song built on a theme created by Producer/Script writer Faravid af Ugglas, which plays a pivotal role.
I had a blast composing the music to this score as the director/producer/editor/script writer Rasmus Tirzitis and me truly found a unique sound which blend together the different styles of the film. I also had the oppurtunity to re use a cue that I for a long time have had the intention of revisit. Thank you Rasmus for this journey. I also would like to thank Per, Faravid and the sound and music mixer Eki Jokisalo for this collaboration.
Shoutout to the cast and crew and last but not least my musicians :
I am fortunate to have worked diligently and continuously with composing music for film, tv and other projects (mostly before I switched gears to composing for tv, film and games, 2009). In the picture above are some of the projects I have composed for during the last 19 years. As a film composer I have worked professionally for 10 years now, my first album came out 19 years ago (in November).
I am now celebrating 6 years as a Film Producer and I am 100 % sure I will never stop composing music. Right now, I am about to finish my score for the “Viking Saga: Rune of the Dead”.
The Swedish podcast Musik i Film (Music in Film) has the same name as the interest org. I am chariman and one of the founders of. It was supposed to only be about Composers and film Music but rather quickly it occured to me that I wanted to talk to Directors, Producers, Sound people, Actors etc. too. With the red thread though being Music. A podcast about Film Music, Game Music and the Film Industry in general. So far all episodes have been in Swedish.
I have been given the honor to both host and being the chairman of the jury at Live Score Festival Stockholm. It’s a festival truly celebrating Film Music. The Festival features short films with original scores performed live-to-picture. This is the first time such a festival is being held in Sweden and the festival is presented by The Prod in association with Kulturama, Musiker Utan Gränser (Musicians without Borders), Shortly and Musik i Film (MusiF) which is a non profit org. that wish to bring knowledge, interest and more value to Film Music in Sweden. An art sometimes overlooked. Selected film Composers have been paired with filmmakers to create an original score for the festival.
The festival is held at Kulturama in Stockholm, Sweden this sunday and the jury I’ve gathered are fantastic:
Richard Jarnhed (Director)
Thomas Lindahl (Composer, Teacher)
Hans Lundgren (Composer)
Joakim Tillman (Associate Professor in musicology and Author)
Shari Strandmark (Director)
Marina Nyström (Director, Actress)
Mikael Carlsson (Label Owner, Concert Producer, Composer)
Alexandra Nilsson (Composer, Board Member of SKAP)
As you might know I composed all the Music to the second season of Svartsjön, or Black Lake as it is called internationally. In october the season premiers and Viaplay and Swedish TV3 have released a teaser.
It’s not my Music in this teaser, you have to wait to hear my score a little while longer.
Some of you might already know that I have produced a documentary about the Swedish artist Moneybrother (Anders Wendin), the Swedish director Titus Paar and the Swedish org. Ankarstiftelsen. The Foundation (Ankarstiftelsen) build schools in South America and help the poor and those in need. This great Project resulted in a feature documentary directed by Titus Paar, edited by Lars Gustafsson (in Austin Texas). The DoP Bratislav Stankovic captured some great fotage in the jungle and in Colombia overall.
This is a really emotional and warm film that I am proud of being a part of.
I also composed the Music to the film, together with Moneybrother.
